무거운 그림

​

한 장 한 장의 그림이 차곡차곡 쌓이며 두께를 만들어간다. 하루의 무게, 사유의 흔적, 손끝의 진동이 종이 위에 고스란히 스며든다. 그렇게 평면은 서서히 입체가 되고, 가벼웠던 낱장의 캔버스는 반복을 거치며 점점 더 무게를 갖는다. 반복되는 행위와 흐르는 시간, 무심한 하루들의 축적 속에서 나는 무의미가 의미로 바뀌는 찰나의 순간을 붙잡고 싶었다.

Weighty painting

​

Each painting is stacked one by one, gradually forming a thickness. The weight of a day, the traces of contemplation, and the tremor of fingertips quietly seep into the paper. In this way, the flat surface slowly becomes dimensional, and the once-light sheets of canvas gain weight through repetition. Amid repeated actions and the passage of time, within the accumulation of seemingly indifferent days, I wanted to capture the fleeting moment when meaning emerges from meaninglessness.
