<파운드 페인팅>

<제로페인팅>에서 기록된 이미지는 <파운드 페인팅>에 이르러 새로운 프레임으로 잘려진다. 이는 그리는 행위자가 그림을 바라보는 관찰자로 전환되는 순간이다. 캔버스에서 한걸음 물러나 그것을 바라보는 일은 나를 통해 발생한 그림을 타자화하는 일이다. 그렇게 새롭게 발견된 이미지는 지금 이 순간으로 드러난다.

<Found painting>

​

The images recorded in <Zero painting> are cut by a new frame in <Found painting>. This is the moment of transitioning from the actor of painting to an observer looking at the painting. Stepping back from the canvas to look at it is the act of othering the painting that was brought about through oneself. The image thus newly discovered reveals itself as the present moment.
