선택된/선택되지 않은 그림

<제로 페인팅>에서 순수한 행위자로 존재하던 ‘나’는, <선택된 그림>에 이르러 관찰하는 ‘나’로 전환된다. 나는 나의 메타적 자아가 되어 내가 쏟아낸 무질서한 이미지의 숲속을 탐험한다. 그 안에서 내가 예기치 못했던 부분, 즉 ‘완전한 우연’과 마주하는 순간 나는 비로소 멈추어 그 부분을 오려내게 된다.
