Eyeballing drawing

When I draw something, I start by looking at it. In a short moment, I remember the image of the object and transfer onto paper. Through this process, I become more intimate with the object. Thus, drawing for me is an act meeting it properly. 'Eyeballing drawing' emphasizes the act of meeting an object through looking. The eye does not see the image drawn on the paper, but only gazes at the object. The hand moves according to the movement of the eye only. As a result, the drawn image no longer resembles the object and only reveals the act of looking. Since the action is important, the time to gaze at the subject was recorded at the bottom of the drawing.
